Sometimes our actions as children foretell some part of our lives in the future. Here’Äôs a picture of my older brother Howard and Me in the early thirties, in our ’ÄúNavy Whites’Äù in Chicago. Next to it is a picture taken in 1946 after our discharges, Howard from the submarine service, in his tailor mades, and me from the Amphibs in my government issue blues.
